Is there any way i can get out of my ex husbands debt problems?
My partner and her husband have recently recieved their divorce absolute. However, he has in the last 2 years they have been separated taken their current account into over 3000 of debt. my partner did try closing the account at the time they split, however she was told the account was in the red and untill it was in the black she could not. having spoken to her ex he said he was trying to sort it and that it will be sorted soon. He then lost his job. my partner didnt hear anthing from the bank and so she assumed that everything was ok. as it turned out he had told the bank my partners address was his mums address and therefor she was recieving no statement or correspondance. out of interest recently she called the bank about her mortgage. she informed them of her address. since which we have had letters from some third party debt collectors saying that if some sort of payment plan is not arranged soon we shall be getting a doorstep visit. we are both really worried bout it. his two children live with us, with no financial support from him. he has told the debt collectors that he is responsible for the debt but i dont think that makes any difference he has agreed a price plan of 5.00 per month. We then found out that he must increase this to 50.00 per month in the next 3 months, which we dont think he will do. nieve, yes stupid even but does anyone know how to get out of this mess without having to pay his debts for him with cash we dont have.

ok im still young and have around 2 grand in debt some being credit card the other just being bills i owe and a 350 dollar ticketi make about 700 per paycheck paid every 2 weeksi need the best advice of how to deal with the stress and just how i can manage to pull all of this off.i need some real advicei know its not alot of debt but when i have nothing backing this i feel like im screwed and sometimes feel worthless i work about 40 hours right now and wonder what its gunna take to actually get some money my way to make a differenceplease help
I am 20 years old and having credit card debt problems.?
My credit card was used without authorization by my ex. It had a $500 limit and he maxed it out, then kicked me out of his house. I was forced to move back to colorado from florida. I did cancel the card and report it stolen to my bank. I did not know at the time I would have to repay what he charged. Now it has gone into a delinquency with payment status and I cannot get a loan for college. I cannot afford to pay what I own with it now. What can I do? I want to go to college to make a better life for my self but cant get the money.

Im 21 and im right around 10,000 in debt. 9 credit cards and 1 school loan. I need some advice on what the best thing to do to get my credit back up and this debt paid off. I heard you pay debt consolidation companies too much. I am trying to do this the cheapest way possible. I work a full time job and my boyfriend is laid off from his job and I have a 1 1 2 year old soo things are tight money wise...any suggestions?

Is the World Debt Problem in-fact a black hole and until we find where it was made we will never plug it?
I think some bankers cooked the books and invented money to borrow more. As the money was never there in the first place, it has created the Black Hole. Until we find where it started, back track and fix it we will stay in a mess and go down it A World Together. At least one countries Government need to call for a world Audit and find where it all started.
