Who would I see for general financial and debt repayment advice?
I just graduated college and very soon I have to pay back my school loans. I want to look into consolidation, but I don't know if it's a good option and how to even consolidate. I want to know my options. I also want advice about future education investments as I'm going to further my education. Besides that, I just want general financial advice about how to manage my assets, being a recent college grad with a temporary job.Who would I see about that? What's their title? What do I look up in the yellowpages?
How to calculate debt repayment plan?
What formula do I use? What are the formulas for fixed and not fixed monthly payments?
Whats is a debt repayment loan?
How does credit counseling and companies that offer debt repayment programs work?
Like many people in America, I made stupid decisions in the past, and because of that, I have a cumulative credit card debt of about $25,000. Both my wife and I work full time to raise our 2 year old girl, but it's just impossible to keep paying our monthly payments on time anymore. Somebody told me of CCCS and they said they can help me negotiate better rates, lower monthly payments and debt reduction with my creditors. Are companies like this one trustworthy? How much should I expect them to pay them in the long run for their services? How will this affect my credit history? If anybody has had experiences with this type of companies, I would appreciate your comments. They say they don't offer a loan or anything, they just help me to negotiate and get a better deal, but I'm not sure at what cost.
Can I get some debt repayment advice?
So I've got 35k in student loans that I'll have to start paying back after I get out of welding school. I have a full time job, and I'm going part time, so the loans are on deferment for now. I'm also living at home, so here's the question Should I start trying to pay them down now, or should I just let them go til I get out of school. If I let them go, I'll have a bigger payment, but I'll also have a larger nest egg built up for when I move out. What do you think I should do?
For personal financial management computer programs, are there ones that address debt repayment?
Money management software like Quicken have lots of helpful features but they don't list anything about repaying debt. I am sure another feature could be used, but it would be nice if there was a program that had that specific feature.BTW I mean the kind of debt that you don't get bills for, or ones that you can repay at your own pace...

Savings or debt repayment?
Is it better to put all of my extra cash into credit card repayment each month, or should I keep a little aside for savings? I owe approx 15000 on credit cards, and have no savings yet. But for the last two months I have been able to cut up the cards and live within my means, with extra left over. Now I wonder what to do with it.I am making a little more than my minimum payments on my 2 credit cards. And have about $200 left each month.I still have access to one of them via my online baking, and can transfer in and out $$ if an emergency comes up.My savings account is TFSA with 2.9 % interest
Is Discover Card economic hardship debt repayment plan right ?
Discover Card offered me a debt repayment plan paying $ 50 for 60 months for me to pay my credit card. They ask for $ 50 for enrollment, money sent via Western Union. When I asked them to send me a paper with the terms of the contract, they refused to do that. They said, they will send a paper after I'm enrolled into the program. Is this OK? . What if I don't get anything in writing ? what if the paper I get does not say I'm repaying my debt and this will be paid in 5 years ? Thanks.
What is the worst thing that can happen to me if I cant keep up with debt repayments?
UK Credit Card Debt Repayment?
If you can't pay the bank the full outstanding amount of a debt, will they negotiate to allow you to pay back a set amount per owed? In 2004 my husband and I separated. Rather than forcing the sale of our newly purchased home I signed it over to him, in return he offered to pay off my credit cards balances and the balance on a bank loan. I left the country. Now over 4 years on he has admitted that he never made even one payment as his Solicitor advised him he wasn't legally responsible for my debt, and that because my debt in total was less than 12,000 the Bank would be highly unlikely to chase me for it. I am horrified that I am probably still liable, and kick myself for accepting an 'easy out' but I just cannot afford to pay them back unless I shifted back to the UK and earnt money in again . Any suggestions? Should I contact the Bank or let the sleeping dog lie, so to speak?
What do they call this service in finance? Debt repayment?
This is the case Adam obtained a loan from Bank A $100,000 , but now he has no money to pay it back. To avoid trouble with the law and the bank, he goes to Company B, company B will give him the $100,000. After let say 60 days, he should return the $100,000 7 %. so what do they call this service?
Debt repayment rumor?
I've heard rumors that in MI where I live if a company creditor etc. refuses a partial payment, the debt is considered paid in full.I'm not hurting financially yet LOL...this IS michigan , just something that I've heard floating around for quite a few years now. Curiosity kills, but I can't find anything to validate or deny this " law" .Is it real? A fake? Any kind of finality to this would be appreciated.
