How does sleep affect weight loss?
I heard that it affects it but I'm not sure if i should be getting more or less sleep. I get about 6 7 hours during the week and 8 or more on the weekend. am i sleeping a good amount if i i'm working on weight loss?

Its been a month and i havent loss any weight...i still have 50pds tolose to reach a healthy weight. ' Questions?1. What can i do to lose weight at a pace again? I do cardio 20 mins at noon 25 mins at nite everyday except sunday. I have gym pe class 2 3 times a week. I eat healthy with plenty of whole grain,fruits and veggies,lean meats. The bad thing is i eat junk everyday cuz of what the school serves even salads without anything are high in stuff. 2. Should i change my diet exercise routine?3. first of all please dont give me the only way to lose weight is eating right and exercise because i do both and it just doesnt cut it by itself for all of us. I have been working out and eating a low fat diet with no junk. All i drink is water. I know that i need a boost of sorts to help me or i will never lose all the weight i need to. Teenage weight loss help?
I'm a 15 year old girl.. i weigh about 107 poundsI'm not unhappy with my weight but i'm embarrassed about my body, it's very curvy and i look like i'm pregnant half the time.I have been doing exercises at home for around 30 mins a day, usually 10 mins of jogging etc.I've cut down on A LOT of junk food, i rarely drink anything other than water, because i actually like it and its very refreshing, helps keep my skin clear too.But i just can't seem to see any changes? Also my weights been increasing instead of the opposite, any help or ideas on how i can change my body?

i disagree with the peopel saying people who take them are fat and lazy.. im 15 and have been trying to beat anorexia, if i take them, i'd like to think they will help prevent me from becoming obese on top of exercise and not eating much.. just saying.

Weight loss question.. is my weight loss plan alright?
I used to overeat so now I only eat when I'm hungry.for breakfast i have some sort of fruit or eggsfor lunch ill have some oli and salt peanuts or some sort of fruitthen when i get home from school ill have some sort of fruitand then ill eat whatever there is for dinner my parents eat very healthily so ill just eat whatever they make but in a smaller amount i dont ever starve myself.. whenever im hungry ill have some fruit. also i try and drink at least 2 if not three bottles of water while im at school and ever more at homei have completely cut out bread before i was eating way too much.. 5 pieces a day also i have cut down on carbs in generali have also completely cut out sweet stuff except for the occasional SMALL cookie or half a cookie at school when my friends are offering i just now had a coffee and i put a lot of milk about a cup and 2 spoons of sugardo you think its okay if i have this once a week? i know i should deff not do this everyday its just i need to stay up late tonight to do work Pi guess in general i do not want to do any extreme diet because i want this to be more of a life style changei have been doing this for two weeks today.. and havent noticed that much of a difference. in the past though it has always taken me a while before i start to actually lose the weight.. so im hoping on my third week now ill start to see a difference what do you think? any personal or similar stories?also i walk to school everydayand take a 40 minute fast walk on saturdays and sundays do you think i should change anything to my 'diet'?thanks btw im female 17.. if that makes a difference

Recommended workout for weight loss with limited equipment?
I have one 15 pound weight, two 8 pound weights and two 5 pound weights as well as a schwin stationary bike to work with at the moment as we're in the middle of a move and that's all i have out of storage. I can't afford to see my trainer now for him to give me a workout and i had to cancel my gym membership for various reasons. I also can't walk or run outside, as snow is thawing during the day and then freezing at night, making the sidewalks pretty much death traps.If someone could come up with a workout routine for me that emphasizes weight loss, i'd much appreciate it. I'm not the best at putting together a workout.

Heart Rate and Weight Loss. What is the best intensity to work out at?
I ve been very confused lately about the best way to work out. I m not new to working out, and pretty much am consistent about working out. I aim for 4 5 days a week. I generally give myself a pretty good workout and do both cardio and strength training. I ve recently invested in a heart rate monitor, because I really want to lose weight, and have been hearing more and more that it is important to stay within heart rate range, and that working out too hard can actually make it harder to lose weight.Today I worked out with my heart rate monitor. My goal was to stay between 70 % 80 % of my max heart rate which is 151bpm 165bpm. I noticed I really had to cut down on my intensity and slow down or even stop and walk for a bit to keep my heart rate within that range. With my normal workout my heart rate is in the high 160s to low 180s.It just seems strange to me that in order to lose weight more quickly, I would have to decrease the intensity of my workout.Is anyone pretty knowledgeable about heart rate and weight loss, or has experienced more rapid weightless after decreasing the intensity of their workouts?

Weight loss problem What should I do?
Most people say to eat breakfast and then youll eat less during the day... but I have a problem im not hungry when I wake up and im not hungry untill around 5 00pm dinner time But when i eat breakfast i get terribly hungry throughout the whole day and it causes me to eat tons about 3000 calories uncontrollably I don't eat junk food or anything but it always makes me gain weight... apparently eating only 1 meal a day is terribly unhealthy but i still have the energy to do all my normal stuff such as walking and i never feel hungry unless i eat S????? Everyone says you gain weight if you dont eat such and such meals at such and such times but I really only am hungry like once???? Will this cause me to gain weight because the 5 6 meals a day just packs it on and i notice weight loss when im eating less Dont tell me eat smaller meals a day because I can't without feeling overly hungry i need big meals or i don't have the will to do anything because all I want to do is eat... Also Ive tried not eating carbs for breafkast no luck though im still hungry during the day I figure once i start eating I dont want to stop?
