I have a weight loss question the concerns metabolism?
I read somewhere that if you fluxuate your calorie intake it will increase your metabolism. ie you eat 1500 calories one day and 1300 the next then 1700, ect. Is this true?
FAST weight loss help?
Looking for a FAST FAST way to lose weight. Like ALOT of weight. Working out everyday and limiting my diet isn't working. I have Type 1 Diabetes and have Celka disease PLEASE HELPI also have PCOS which makes it almost impossible to lose weight. I have a very restricted diet because of my celiac. And I work out a minimun of 3 hours a day, and that doesnt include my swim team practice. I am a USS national swimmer and 20 yrs old.I have also worked with nutritionists for over 2 years. I dont drink juice or soda, only water, also no breads.Please note I am already on a very low calorie count as I am already on very restricted diets.

Does adding fiber help weight loss?
im got some fiber supplement powder because i realized i wasnt getting anywhere close to recommended amount. i think males are supposed to get 35 grams. will this help to clean me out of bad stuff like a detox? and is it bad to take all 35 grams at once im guessing yes . thanks
Abnormal weight loss?
Okay so i'm 4ft 11 inches and i usually weight about 8 stone 7 give or take, I weighed myself yesterday and i weighed 8 stone 1 pound today i weigh 7 stone 8, is this abnormal? I've been going to the gym quite a bit in the last five weeks but i haven't gone lately due to a sore throat and bad knee.
Is this good to start my weight loss journey?
OK I'll wake up and eat breakfast, which will probably be an omelette with two eggs and some onion and a bit of fruit on the side, and a glass of green tea 210 calories Then I have to go grocery shopping with me mum, but I will be walking over to a different store while she's doing the actual shopping, and it's about a 15 minute walk in the sun, and I live in AZ, so it's 100 degrees while walking. I'll keep water on me during this time. And then I have to walk back and walk around the store while we're shopping, so it's 30 minutes of walking.Come home, take care of groceries, eat some lunch. Lunch will probably be a Morning Star chicken pattie 140 on whole wheat bagel 110 with some lettuce, and 1 2 serving of low fat mozzarella cheese 40 calories and more green tea.I'll probably relax some after lunch......and the maybe do my Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred DVD.Eat dinner, which is salad and Morning Star chicken or salad and tofu, and fruit afterwards.I'll surely drink 2 3 liters of water, too.Sound like a good start? This is my basic plan, but I can't walk every day like that personal reasons, not allowed out of the house but I do 10 minutes of cardio with my DVD and I dance 20 minutes, too P.S I'm a vegetarian, Morning Star is an all vegetarian brand
A friend of mine has severe weight loss, vomiting, and also has barely enough energy to even eat. Please HELP!?
So she cannot attend a school at the moment, because of how severe her condition is. She's had this since the middle of the summer, and I feel terrible, because nobody knows what's wrong It's so hard to find answers on other websites, and I want to know if ANYONE can help. Is there a condition that any of y'all have had, or might know of, that has the symptoms listed? or a Doctor that might know what's wrong? Any suggestions are helpful, and please list the symptoms ?by the way, she has ALREADY been to the hospital a numerous amount of times. No, she does not have an eating disorder either, she's a good person with great self esteem. No doctor has found out whats wrong This. Is. Why. I'm. Asking.I've also researched, getting no help. I have no Doctor to call, considering I'm not the one with the illness. She is going to get blood samples taken again later this week, and I just really wanted to know if we could warn her about this stuff before the bloodtest and see if it is what she has. Teen(female) eating/weight loss help?
Well, I'm pretty much on the journey of trying to lose weight, with my mother as a slacking, but still is, a partner in crime. My only problem is, I fear my eating habits could be hindering any plans of weight loss I have. Don't get me wrong, I don't eat out of whack, chips snacks etc. I only do those type of things on a 'cheat day', either Fri, Sat, Sun. What I've read is, that if you cut out such and such of this, and such of such of that, it'll be easier to lose weight. For example, sugar, white bread, salt, but eating more whole grains. I'm in no way in charge of what I can eat at all, and sometimes my mother doesn't always have the time to cook healthy meals either, though we'll usually eat chicken salad, baked chicken, turkey burgers, carrots, broccoli, string beans, while not cheating.I try to get about 60 70 mins of exercise, not including Gym Phys Ed Class running soccer whatever sport stretching, can this be count as exercise , and I usually find myself scurrying up and down the stairs of my school, hallways, and trying to get to classes. I try to consume enough water, my goal being clear clearer urine. My lunch is usually a couple of fruit snacks, a sandwich Hoagie white bread, lettuce, slice of cheese, some mustard, and ham , sun chips french onion , grapes, water apple juice I've decided not to buy lunch anymore, or not as often, since the lunch at my school is not good for you at all , and a gogurt yogurt or Jello. My goal is 60 80 lbs lost by the end of the school year June , I'm tall for my age, and don't worry, I'm aware when I can afford to lose weight, and when I can't. Any eating advice, exercise advice I do running, biking , etc. I also hope my goal isn't too strenuous to reach, since I heard 1 2lbs is the maximum, but that doesn't always seem right. I also don't have much time for breakfast, but I try to incorporate food in the morning as much as I can.Thanks a lot Treesah, my mother works, so we don't really eat fast food on the weekdays, since she's not home. What I mean is, she might make less healthy foods, but not blown out of proportion unhealthy, since vegetables are still included. Is there any other type of alternative to the sun chips, and why are they bad? Thanks for the advice Livia, that really sounds complicated and difficult to follow. I'm even unaware of what some of those foods are. Btw, I don't eat butter, and rarely candy, ice creams, cakes, sweets, all things I don't really like much x

i play volleyball for 2hrs 5 times a week and I weigh 160lbs and i want to weigh 140lbs. does anyone recommend a diet that wont make me lose energy?
