I need some dieting help and advice...?
Hello. I'm 23 years old. I'm 5'4" and currently weigh 190 lbs. I'd like to lose 20 lbs. by October 1st. This means I'll have to lose about 2 lbs. per week to reach my first goal. I plan on limiting my calorie intake to 1200 calories per day. How much and what kind of exercise will I need to do daily to lose this weight? I don't want to get burnt out in the first week like I always do when trying to start a weight loss plan. Once I lose the 20 lbs., I will set another goal to lose more weight. Ideally, I'd like to get down to 140 lbs. which means losing 50 lbs. but I don't want to set such a huge goal at once because I feel I'd be setting myself up to fail. Any suggestions? Advice? hey guyyss and galssso im 15 years old and like most teenage girls i hate my bodyim realllyy short and i've just come to terms with thatbut i realized lately that what i thought was fat on my tummmy, sides and hips is actually extra skin?it come together realllyy easily and it looks reallyy oddhow can i get rid of this?a friend has recommended sit ups and stuff and i've been doing 15 situps then another 15 straight after twice a day?what else can i doo? ? ? thanks for your help y'alll xx

Does cutting Soda out of ur diet help weight loss?
im 17 years old and i weigh 134 135 but my mom always tell me that if i want to slim down i have to stop drinking soda.so does that really help? i want to look different for the first day of school in september by losing some weight.and since im young will i lose weight faster?thanks in advance thanks for all the great answers D

Diet help Please.........?
Hay. So the aim is weight loss.I've being doing this for just over 2 weeks..yeah not long at all.But anyway I've being eating very healthily, only just now my mom has just prepared a veryy tempting lunch. Quiche, Chips & salad...all of which are terrrible for a weight loss diet.So I was wondering if I eat this but go to the gym later on, is that okay? I have no idea how many calories would be in this meal, so not sure how long i'd have to workout for.Stress of diets.

Dieting help please!?
For a couple months I was unable to work out due to an injury, but managed to keep nearing the weight loss goal I had set for my self. 170lbs at 6ft tall. However i have recently been taken off a drug of which a side effect destroyed my appetite. Since the medicine change I have gained 10lbs, my appetite is ridiculous I'm always hungry and because of the injury i have fallen out of the cycle that made me want to exercise. So to get to the point, How do you get " into" a workout mood or state of mind? What do you do to fight hunger and cravings? And Are there any foods that suppress appetite?

I'm not very good at dieting!! help me mentally stick to it, please!?
so i grew up where my older sister was always thinner than me, and it's always made me jealous. and i know i'm not fat, but this one guy who i had the biggest crush on called me fat. to make matters worse, the most beautiful guy i've ever seen in my life is on the cross country team, and i'm going to see him next year, when i go into highschool. so these i know i randomly threw them out there. sorry bout that. are my motivations for losing weight... i actually lost 8 pounds making myself throw up all the time, but after i was running my fifth mile and felt like i was going to pass out i can usually run at least seven without feeling that bad , plus my throat kept bleeding, i decided i'd better eat something, and try a healthier diet. but the thing is i don't usually stick to diets for long, and i want to walk into highschool being able to wear fitting shirts, and being able to run faster. any advice?
