Ok so, im 14 years old. Female. im about 5'4ish around 130 lbs. (YIKES!!) My stomach sticks out. but not to much and my legs.... Ugh, hate em. I use to be really skinny in 8th grade (113lbs) but after a year, i just lost it. Im always feeling so self conscious. How long will it take me to lose all my body fat? Excersise tips? Health tips? HELP!!!

I think just your basic eating right and exercise. But 130lbs isn't fat. That is pretty healthy.

About three yrs wen u FINISH PUBERTY...if u exercise n stuff ur not really gonna change ur shape...

Gaining that much weight in that amount of time at your age is called PUBERTY! If you really want to be healthy and in shape then just find a good work out and eat healthy food. Healthy is different for everybody so you have to find what works for you.

Eat more smaller, healthy meals throughout the day. And for exercising during the winter I would try Pilates it'll help you tone the muscles.

Your 14 do you understand that your body is still developing and you dont need to do anything... trust me give it 10 years and you will see a huge change! Stop stressing and just enjoy food. YOU DONT NEED TO DIET!

You could try to do some sit-ups, you can lose weight really fast, but remember you can gain it faster

First of all, you can't reduce fat in a specific area. for example, have u seen a a guy with a 6pack and a double chin? have u seen a girl with slim thighs and thick calfs? no, you can't control where your body loses fat. so to lose fat on your stomach and legs you gotta lose fat everywhere. try running? also at 14 you're still growing. i'm 23, and a lot of my girl friends that are skinny ,are also freaking short. 5'4 is pretty good, but u should keep eating so u can get up to 5'6 or 7. in the mean time just exercise (1 mile jogging with some crunches and push ups everyday will definitely do the trick) drink a ton of water!! u can't lose weight without your pee being clear.

Im 5'4 and 126......umm i guess u can workout but u dont need to lose alot of weight......try any exercise that makes u sweat...sweating melts ur fat(running, cycling, treadmill, full body workouts) drink alot of water and eat healthy....cut out sugars and breads from ur diet and the extra weight should come off.....but ur only 14.....so dont put too much pressure on yourself. if u just wanna lose in certain areas do target training.....like for abs...wear a waist trimming belt(u can buy it at wal mart for $6 in the sprorts department) when u exercise and do ab exercises...for ur thighs...lunges and sqauts work best! good luck!

I think it's just your imagination. 113lbs at 5,4 " is underweight. You're weight is good, certainly healthy for your height. It's normal for your stomache to stick out a bit, and it's normal for you to carry more fat in some places, and less in others. You can't just lose weight in specific areas, but you can tone those areas to make them less flabby. If it bothers you, maybe try doing some crunches for your stomache, and lunges for your legs? Running is good too. It boosts your mood, and is really, really good for your body.

Im 14 too and i weigh about 69 - 73 kilos (around that) and im trying everything i can to lose weight i have tried eating healthy but i only last about a day = P my exercise lasts about a week or two before i give up.. the thing you have to remember is KEEP GOING! dont give up! just think all those chocolates are pieces of doggyy doo doo = ) and celery burn carbs! go for a jog everyday .. do some squats everyday (good for thighs) and some situps or crunches everyday (for tum tum) and you should be good = ) good luck!

1 > you arnt that fat for your height, and the weight gain is probably just a teen phase, same thing happened to me around your age. 2 > you cant spot reduce weight, so dont do sit ups and stuff other wise the muscles will get bigger and make u look even fatter, thank you very much other posters! because if you exersize you loose weight through your WHOLE body. that means by running you'll also lose fat on your arms! 3 > it will take you a while to see big results, a month or 2 maybe 4 > exersize tips....run, best way to lose weight, ever. 5 > cut out junk food completely, its fattening and has next to no nutritional value, and fills you up so you cant eat the healthy food! goodluck.

Hey girl, u can lose ur weight in few months , ur weight sepifications say that u r very concious about ur weight, so i have some things for u , stop concerning so much about ur weight , and start concentrating on different work, in which u can really take some interest. the main reason of ur obessity is depression and extra concerns about u r self..... FEWS TIPS TO LOOSE WEIGHT,.,..,.,.,.. _ >start drinking 3 liters of mineral water every day. _ >get started with some club which provides u SAUNA Bath facility.( sauna bath is really veru use full and helps u in loosing extra fats with doing any thing, _ > control u diet and try to eat food that doesn't contains fats and carbohydrats.( stop eat bread).. thankz.....hope u like the answer....bye

1. run & lunges are good too 2. try to excersize everyday (which always makes me feel less self-consious) 3. have a smoothie for breakfast 4. eat a salad for lunch good luck
