Question: Smoking cessation and weight-loss advice..please!?

I stopped smoking 2 months ago, and quit the patch 1 month ago. I'm a vegetarian, so my diet is restricted, but I'm still packing on the pounds. I also exercise daily. Whats the deal?? When will my system get back to normal? Is there anything else I can do?

I actually lost weightr when I quit smoking. Perhaps pay more attention to what you are taking in, it might be a little bit more then you realize. = /

Congratulations on quitting smoking!! It's great that you are a vegetarian, although you still need to watch what you eat as certain foods can still contain high amounts of fat from calories. As for the exercise, I would try swimming as It is the number 1 calorie burning exercise. I would also try circuit training and make sure you keep the rotations to: 40sec of continuous exercise and 20sec rest, then perform your next exercise.

Had same problem when quit smoking. Also vegetarian for 20 years now. 2 QTs. water a day will help, (the kidneys will level out in about 2 weeks). Hawaiian spirolina will curb appetite. Like 5 caps or more a day. one salad a day helps. Biffodopholis at night just before sleeping. This is a big change in the body, give it a chance, be patient. It took ten years to get over the addiction. Cleansing the blood helps to get nicotin out of blood. Such as Pau d aucho teas, & robios teas. Stay away from night shades , such as egg plants, beef steak tomatoes, peppers.
