What would be causing lower back pain, left side?
I'm having a lot of pain in that location. Not bad enough to go to the E.R, but enough for it to be a nuisance. Is there something right there, like a kidney?what about if i'm feeling it in the front, also? Kidney was my first thought..ok thenjust curious is there any possibility that's related to pregnancy? I'm on the ring, but it's never 100 % or so I've heard...
I'm a seventeen year old girl with moderate to severe back pain..? please help?
i'm a seventeen year old female. i don't ear particularly great, don't exercise a lot, but am still at a better than healthy weight and size. i'm on a birth control that has completely eliminated my periods. as far as i know, i'm a healthy person. i have been going through some depression lately, and i know that can do some weird stuff to a person. i also have been kind of irregular. i do have, i think, quite an arched back, and a big behind for someone with such a small waist. this is everything that i can think of that would help figure out eliminate why my back pain is so constant. i get some relief when i bend over, and a lot of relief when i lay on my side with my legs curled up to me. it is effecting my life i don't want to move, it's causing me a lot of pain and irritation. when i stand, it's now a natural reaction to hold my lower back with my hand, almost as a pregnant woman would. i've also have been particularly tired and lethargic, and having some breathing problems. but that could be due to anxiety, depression or a virus. can someone tell me whats going on? am i over reacting and thinking too much about it? what could this be, and what could be causing it?i've done a fair amount of research and i can't seem to find any answer matching my particular case. please help?
Diarrhea back pain and sweats?
im a 19 year old female and ive always delt with this, its been like a month where every week i have at least 2 episodes. im sick of missing work and sleep.This is what happensI will randomly get a sharp cramp through my back, then i get a dull pain on my left side on m lower back then the sweats then abdomain pain then the diarrhea and it seems the only way i can get my stomach to stop is my tapping my foot idkwhy but i cant deal with this crap anymore.. what does it sound like

Almost every time I lay on my bed at the end of the day, I get this intense pain in my lower back and it hurts so bad that I just have to sit up and wait for the pain to go away. It also does this after I bend down to pick something up, etc. On a scale of 1 10, I would say the pain is about a 7 8. What is causing this and what can I do for the pain?

Alternatives to pain medication for back pain?
My husband had major spinal fusion surgery 11 years ago. He has been taking hydrocodone daily for about 6 or 7 years now and its starting to control his life. He can't sleep unless he has them. His doctor will not up his dosage, so he's running out before his refills are due. I know he is dependent on them, but it is starting to turn into abuse more than anything. His doctors want to put him on a stronger pain medication, like morphine or oxycotin but we're young enough to know all the horror stories of those drugs and he refuses to take them. He wants so badly to be off the drugs completely or atleast not destroying his body by taking so many. We keep looking into alternatives because he hates letting the drugs rule his life. He's tried time released pills, anti inflammatory patches, physical therapy, shock therapy, heating pads, ice bads, Tigerbalm...just about everything we can think of. He's going to see a toxicologist to see about getting off of the pills, but he's been let down so many times he thinks no one can help him. We're starting to get desperate...I keep telling him that there is no way you are the first person to have been in this situation and there has to be someone that can help. I refuse to believe that there isn't someone, somewhere that knows of something we haven't tried that will help him. Please, any and all advice will be much appreciated, especially person experience. Thank you
Upper back pain help?
i have pain in my upper back about 3 5 inches below my neck. It is NOT back muscle it is my spine. i don't think its anything serious. it only happens when i am physically exerting myself such as running, jumping, etc. any ideas on how to stop this?
Lower back pain and very heavy period after being sick?
Ok so I had my period and than had sex like 2 days after I got off than I started the next day. I haven't been off my period sense. Than 2 days ago I got sick throwing up the works. when I woke up my back was hurting really bad and my period is very heavy. My period have always been irregular, but any help you can give will be appreated
I have really bad back pain. Please help!!!!!!?
I am 17 years old and i just enlisted for the army. I was running every day at least 2 miles and lifting weights, i noticed that my back was sore so i went to a chiropractor and had him do some adjustments. One day after the chiropractor my back was in so much pain i could not bend down to pick something up, i couldn't even touch my knees. Now it has been about 7 8 weeks and it is still in pain. My mom thinks it is my hamstrings that are tight so i have been trying to touch my toes every day with very little improvement. if i try to sit with both of my legs out in front of me my lower back really hurts so when i stretch i just do one leg at a time. we just scheduled an MRI but i would like some input from others.yea, am also 6ft 1in
What are some relations between Hatha Yoga and lower back pain?
After having practiced a regular hatha yoga routine for a few months, about a month ago after one of these routines, my lower back began to hurt. I stopped practicing hatha yoga for two weeks to see if the pain would go away and it did. Now that I have started to practice again, the pain is back. currently it is to the lower left side of the body. What could be the relationship between this pain and the Hatha Yoga practice? Could it be that I might be over stretching? Any tips on how to prtect lower back and prevent lower back pain?Thank you
Low cervix, back pain and urinatrion at night?
iv been having really bad lower back pain were i cant bend over or sit dwn or stand from a siting position without it hurting somtimes so back it takes my breath away. also i just noticed my cervix was low really low and i been having to pee real bad at night or in the morning. im not pregnant and havnt had sex in ove a 1 1 2. could these be symptoms of somthing?
Back pain left shoulder blade need help.?
Hi, im 15 and my parents keep telling me that i shouldn't have back pain but I do. Its in my left shoulder blade and its like a tight burning pressure pain. its not all the time but if I lay on my back for more then 5 minutes its starts to hurt it gets to the point where im forced to sleep on the floor becuase its so unbearable and the floor is the only place where it doesnt hurt. Does anyone know why this might be? Or know of any solutions to the problem? Any help would be greatly appriciated.
BACK PAIN SO BAD I WAS SCREEMING THEN WENT AWAY WHEN I STOOD UP?
hi i am 16 and i just had a sharp back pain behind my ribs around my shoulder blades. it was such bad pain i was screeming and crying, it was the worst pain i have ever been in.... it didnt get worse if i stood up or layed down but when i had some water it felt like something was going down through my body inside my back and the pain got worse. i was going to go to hospital and walked outside and then the pain went away. sorry this isnt much help but its the best i can explain.... does anyone have any idea of what this might of been??
